I,m July filer for I140/I485 and have not received my EAD yet so I visited local office and lady officer gave me Ticket number and ask me you can use this number to see the activity on my case regarding this latest request on the uscis website.

I have no clue where to put in this number...Anyone with suggestion or similar situation..

Guys,

Is it ok to have a title of Business Analyst and do software development? Programmer Analyst makes more sense for the position. Like wise Is it ok to have a programmer analyst title for a systems administrator? What kind of issues can one expect if the title and job duties/resume are not in sync?

I don't think the data is right, though I can see my Labor filed under PERM and it shows status as 'Denied' but I have my labor approved and applied for I-140. Not sure why?

Cross country chargeability worked for me but you have to be persistent in sending the docs couple of times ; call them or take an appointment with IO as last resort. I got it in 3 months after using this option. I had an RFE for using AC21 but finally got it approved

and I140 applied and pending .
6th year expires in Sept06.

Obama needs to stop Congress from doing the big comprehensive things and focus them on smaller and faster laws that help americans.

The current healthcare, climate change, immigration reform should be broken up in dozens of smaller bills. They will either pass or he can paint the republicans as siding with the Insurance companies to block access to healthcare for people with pre-existing conditions for example.

There are lots of parts in Healthcare, Energy, CIS, etc, that can pass right now and he should take a lead on that. Otherwise the base that voted for him in 2008 is not going to turn up in 2010.

Folks,

understand IV is a non-profit org and they are not full time employees of IV and getting paid for what they are doing. Entire IV active members and sleeping members are one team with set of goals.

Probably from my experience with IV activities I beleive IV would have known this news a week before. When we are talking about this, they might be working out a plan with QGA. Leave them free and let them do their job. It is not an easy task for volunteers. Each member is in different location and they have to co-ordinate etc etc. I do not know why people are DEMANDING from IV as if they are shareholders.

My request to everyone is don't send Bulk E-mails addressed to all newspapers. It will get ignored. Only individually addressed E-mails have a chance of getting read.

Also, please don't resort to the short cut of using BCC for all the E-mails. There is a high likelihood that your E-mail will get labelled SPAM and get deleted or land in 'SPAM'/'Bulk Mail' folder.

If your E-mail is ignored as Bulk mail it doesn't serve our purpose. So please customize the message and send individual E-mails to your local newspapers. Local papers in your city/county are more likely to give weightage to your E-mail than a newspaper based in a faraway city or county. Target local newspapers first.

I am not sure I agree with you on that EAD will go invalid if the primary applicant stops working fulltime. This is because the greencard application and everything associated with it is for a FUTURE job offer.

What I am trying to see is the analysis of this situation from the point of view of an attorney. It would be great if one of the attorneys can chime in here!

Couple of more points in case it wasn't clear in my original post

1) I am the primary applicant for this greencard application.
2) The option of going to MBA after I get the greencard will not work. For one, it will take me (eb3 india) years to get it, at which point going for an MBA will be too late. Also I got this opportunity to attend a top-3 MBA after so much hardwork and I do not want that to go to waste.
