Dear Members
For those of you joining us late, here is some info about this thread.
1. This is to do our least part to the core IV Team for their selfless sacrifice, for all of us getting the benefits of legal immigration. Note that , Aman Kapoor , the co-founder of IV has done his part by sacrificing $64,000/- from his own personal funds towards the administrative costs of IV. Yes you read it right , it is $64,000/- We come to know from his co-worker that he has sold his house towards running this show for us.
2. We have not yet figured out a way to reimburse these costs as IV does not yet have administrative costs part of the expenditure allocation, as we understand it. So instead of a wait and watch, we decided to go ahead with collecting the pledge from the members on the amount they are putting forth for reimbursing the amount. Once we come up with a strategy(members we look for your suggestions on how to get this done, please add your comments) we will instruct the members pledged to pay out.
So do not pay it directly to the IV core funds, yet.
Please help us spread the message about this thread in other threads by copy and pasting the following in other threads too.
There is a funding drive in this other thread towards reimbursing Aman and other core IV member's expenses towards the administrative costs of IV.

If u want to be fair, fight to remove country quota and not fight among EB categories
I agree with you vin13, remove country quota or by number of years we are legally here in US.
Base on PD is not fare enough. Many of us filed GC vary late because of one or many reasons.

What we are asking is just fairness and transparency in the system.
Though I will benifit if the OP's idea succeeds. I agree with eb3_nepa. We need to do something that will help everyone. Its not fair to seek relief to only some section of the community.

Free riders if you are reading this and I know you are, please and please come out of your cheap mentality and donate. You know very well that saving 20$ will not help you build a TajMahal, but donating just 20$ or 50$ will make a huge difference to millions of people INCLUDING YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.
So don't be ashamed of yourself by not donating and donate generously.

Motivating people by solid proposals rather than silly insults and calls to their conscience by abusing it gets us nowhere.

I don't know how you have calclated that. As far as I remember seeing various threads on this forum, there are atleast 5-6K EB3 in 2002 and similar number in 2003 for India. Considering 2.5 number used per family I an guessing we need atleast 20-25K Green card numbers for EB3 to move beyond 2003. With just 3300 EB3 available per year, my guess is it'll take 4-5 years for cuttoff dates to go past 2003. I may be pesimistic, but this country's immigration system has taking all optimism out of our American dream...

the question is after the 180 day period..and my point is aytes memo clearly states that the I-140 need not be approved..
So what? I-140 was "approvable" but now employer revokes it and therefore 485 denial becuase 180 days have not been passed. And that is why one never should even try to use AC21 before 180 days period. Even I-140 is already approved, revocation of it will initiate 485 denial.

By the way if we have 20,000 members and even if each pledge $5, we can reimburse the core team expenses. How often we have to teach and tell the Math to our so called highly skilled free riders.

Do you really believe there are 700K "unique" cases pending.
I think elimination of Labor Substitution would take out atleast half of 700 K pending labors..
